Until recently, physicians had limited options for helping their female patients with intimate yet serious life altering conditions. Today, advanced technology allows physicians to offer women safe, non-surgical solutions for a variety of sexual issues.
The course offers expert insight and details on the latest regenerative treatment options for female sexual dysfunction, including Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and Low Intensity Shockwave Therapy (LI-ESWT) designed specifically for women. Much like PRP, LI-ESWT stimulates the release of growth factors and generates new healthy tissue; however, combining the two modalities leads to long-term clinical results. Improvement in lubrication, aesthetic appearance, sensitivity, intensity of orgasm and resolving urinary incontinence begin within days and weeks of the treatment and can last up to12 months and beyond.
This course will educate you on the science and details of PRP and shockwave therapy and the clinical applications to help your female patients with many conditions including; painful intercourse, vaginal atrophy and dryness, lichen sclerosis, interstitial cystitis and dramatically heal urinary incontinence. This course covers in depth the history of PRP and LI-ESWT, mechanism of action and review of articles and case studies.
In addition to understanding how to prep patients, process biologics and when and how to apply the combination therapy treatments, this course provides step by step instruction of the PRP vaginal injection combined with Shockwave Therapy treatment during a live demonstration performed on an actual patient.
This course is intended for all practitioners.
